NEW Custom Alerts for Buyers Edge Users

SYSTEM ALERT! 

There’s an exciting change coming to our Buyers Edge software.

Coming soon, we will be rolling out a huge overhaul to the Buyers Edge alert system. The alert system was originally put in place in late 2016 for a limited audience, and it had limited functionality. We have expanded this tool to all clients now and have enhanced functionality to assist in identifying changes in key items automatically.

What does this actually mean for you?  Well, these alerts currently get emailed to all of our users. They capture a particular “event” in your data. Examples of this include:

  • It might be that purchases for a certain item exceeded a user-set limit…you will get an alert…
  • Maybe a product that usually gets purchased wasn’t purchased at all…you will get an alert…
  • It can also alert users about things like price % increases or volume % increases…
  • We can set up an alert to tell a user if an alert gets triggered on any single product, any top-10 product, or even on a specific product in our database…

At Buyers Edge, we look forward to furthering the user experience by ensuring that the data being processed is giving us real-time answers. The goal is for the alerts to help make the best business decisions.
